EDIT--aug26

ok, heres a Almost Final render, but it looks too bad to be final, Its just that It has to go through 1 more refinment prosess, as you'll see there is flickering inthe background, and the background itself is just flat planes, which i will change, also have to fix all textures in the scene they look too cartoony, I think its cuz the textures im using are too bright. So have to change that too. But this a splitscreen render, sorry for the "squished version" the next render will be a nice quicktime, but since I have to redo this I rendered it 640x480 for size ,, Its a set of two maxwell scenes, one with the van speeding 45mph in a 25mph, and the second it is going the 25 speed limit.

ALSO.. another reason for ReRender; is that curently if you render with ALPHA and MOTION BLur the ALPHA IS completely disfunctional, it just dont know how to render alpha with motion blur, beta122a.

This IS a BIG BUG to me, so I had to compost the background in by hand,m that created an awful color ring, since CLIPMAPS dont work either, so the background is a sepret render from the foreground.

so Finally, I just rendered without motion blur and blured in post, since my alpha was useless with motion blur turned on.

ANYONE else get this, try to turn on motion blur and see what your alpha looks like, mine renders black or black with white stripes.-rendered as jpgs and the alpha is rendered as a sepret jpg image for each frame.

OK here is the splitscreen.-- ohh ya, its now the Drivers POV too.

Looking really good! The lighting looks great. :D There's some texture stretching on the tan median (on the right of the frame). The motion blur test on the van looks good too.

Looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Hey thanks for the reply abgrafx3d!

Here is an updated from with UV maps fixed and all is well EXEPT the shader on my man is Totally Weirding out, rendering as a TOON shader almost, Isnt the Normals, checked themm, and also checked the Softness hardness of the edges, did nothing.
Im thinking its a UV thing? I was learning Alias motion builder and the character is a motion builder character , I was totally impress by motionbuilders animation workflow, and its characterisation, so i was making sure that import would work back into maya, Yet this Shader is really weirding out, ive done about a day messing with it, and I guess im gonna have to redo ythe uvs on it. Its the last hangup before a final aniamtion run at it. Hope to get rendering soon. On the bright side It renders to about 16 samples in about 50 minutes now which is great time.

Here a pic, aniamtion to come soon.

Num Triangles: 84735

thnx,,
:D
I updated It today with a new movie, still in progress, and has a few more refinments to go before its final, my biggest concern is the overall cartoony look of it, definatly looks odd. I think its due to my textures.
gonna revamp all textures in photoshop.
