"Syntax Error" when I try to export scene... huh?

Something really wierd is going on here.
I installed maya 6.5 and when I go to Maxwell->Export Scene I get this error:
Error: Syntax Error

WTF?!?!?!? Now when I try to even use Export Scene in Maya 6.0 I get the same error! Anyone have any ideas? I got a buddy of mine to try it on his Maya 6.5 as well - he got the same error.

I uninstalled 6.5 and still got the same error in 6.0 - I was thinking it could be that maybe the 6.5 intall hosed something in the 6.0 install but I really don't know....

I'm thinking I've either missed a thread or I'm totally fubar.... or both!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Awesome! I guess I just revealed that I haven't been rendering anything but animations!!!! I remember having to redo all my materials after the latest mayall but I guess I hadn't tried to export a single frame since april - Thanks very much for the prompt reply Betty - I'd love to buy you a few shots! actually that goes for everyone!!! shots on me!!!!
