ya doesnt happen here either.. Are you sure you dleted your old mayall directory and deleted you User/system paths before installing the new plugin?.. It happend to a machine that had alpha on it still.. and it would load up with the old alpha plugin
what maya areyou using 8?

Can you post a short sequence of steps that results in this behaviour? When we test saving and reloading scenes the active renderer does not change, it remains set to whatever we selected before saving.

hey Nicko... Noneed to be embarased .. I did the same thing :wink:
so this thread may help someone else maybe check up to see if they are refering to their old mayall.. (Ive just ended up renaming my mayall to Oldmayall.. so that If i Do wanna use Alpha plugin again .maybe a future fog test.. I can just rename it back..)
