Does the latest maxwell plugin for maya 8.0 support 64 bit ?#200679

I use Windows 64 bit OS and install the latest plugin for maya 8.0 but it did'n t work properly. when I check maxwell.ml on plugin manager of Maya, Maya said to me that it terminates unexpectedly.
does someone knows why it happen?

Maxwell plugin doens´t work on 64 bits machines (damn it), they said this week were going to be ready, but it is Tuesday and no news about it...

You could always load up the 32bit version and run that. I have done that and it runs fine.

the only way is to use the plugin w the 32 bit install of maya on the 64 bit machine

We have a 64-bit version ready but we're still working on fixing some bugs that have been reported since the plug-in was released. When those bugs are fixed we'll release a new version that will include the 64-bit plug-in. We thought we'd have everything sorted out this week, but one particular problem is taking longer than expected.
