i want to address a bug of maya 7.01 which is not able to send bitmaps to maxwell 1.1 from externally referenced .mxm files (neither locally nor over a network)

i have tried a lot of times over this past half year but could not find out what it was about. my brother had the idea to check the maya versions. on one pc all worked fine and on my laptop, nothing worked and 7.01 was installed. after removing 7.01 and reinstalling 7.0, everything works just fine.

addendum:

You must uninstall maya AND maxwell completely. just uninstalling 7.01 and reinstalling 7.0 does not work.

I render with 7.0.1 with no problems mate...
