Hi!
Try to render with a different "seed" (seed=1 or 2). So MR will execute a differente rendering, and then you can merge them.

Could you post your image?, I am rendering for print at the same resolution and never get rid of the noise, but when you print it, the noise comes as normal as a real photograph noise, the clients likes it! :D
