HI Brian,

I wonder if this is related to the sub-patch (might have that term wrong) problem that Lightwave has? Is part of your model triangles and part subdivision surfaces?

If the modeling program translates everything to trianglular meshes in the viewport, there doesn't seem to be a problem, since MW grabs that to export.

Just a thought.
