NURBs will render now - i guess they are tesselated upon export to Maxwell. The tesselation settings are unclear though - see one of my other posts.

I started running into problems with NURBs though - when my scenes reached some undetermined level of complexity, Maya/Maxwell would crash with a Fatal Error right when the export seemed to complete, before the render started. when i removed certain elements of the scene (which happen to be complex NURBs objects imported from Pro-E), it would render fine. I went round and round trying to figure out how to get it to render without crashing (exporting the different elements to Maxwell Studio and compositing them there, etc), but nothing worked. in the end, it seems that the best plan is to tesselate on your own ahead of time.
Will there be a Maxwell Render 6 ?
