my first RC2/RC1 animation

nothing crazy.. very simple.
Acctually still rendering, but just made quick gif...

gif has 30 frames, but looks like only first 11-13 are palying weird, but whatever... gonna be back with a REAL render animation soon....

YES Its STRAIGHT out of MAYA! maya to RC1 engine via mayall (Dec 05 05 NEW Maxwell 1.0)


Sample level 12 at 7.5 mins a frame 400x300rez
UMM well Im not fan of new engine, Id rather wait 30min a frame cuz It looks like this is rendered with Biased renderer, not a fan of those crazy "sparkles" looking like errors...
BUT i'm waiting since this is the RC1 engine, hopefully we'll have something closer to the more accurate alpha or beta engine by friday, or in the next few weeks, STILL EXITING to render aniamton with RC and mayall

YES, LAUNCHED RENDER FROM MAYA DIRECTLY!

cant figure out how mxStudio handles animaton yet..(dont think studio does yet)

But this is DIRECTLY FROM MAYA...

remember to change your maya emmiter type to "CUSTOM" and the Units to "Intensity" Not the default powere, otherwise you'll get those weird b/w images, cuz maya emmiters default to Kelvin NOT watts

but yes this is DIRECTLY from mayall RC
I just spread the 30 frames over 3 machine, machine 1= rendering frames 1-10, 2=11-20, and 3=21-30

IT DOES render from maya, it wont show what sample level you are on UNLESS you make bat file with the -d flag, otherwise It will write the files with only a "rendering started" prompt, but IT is writing the file...
