I think you have to increase the camera ISO setting, the higher the value the more light it lets in, i think the longer you let it render the less noise, but i'm no expert on the inner workings.

thanx, i checked the attributes in the maxwell camera, but i couldnt find it there, am i looking in the wrong place?

checkout page 25 of the maxwell pdf manual, also the film tab in your MXCamera1 node in the camera attribute editor, default iso is 100.

Tom made the manual, and all the screen shots are 3dsmax, most of the functionality is the same depending on the plugin, did you find the tab I as talking about?
