Hello, ive been searching the forum for some info but could´t find anything about the fact I would like to have some answer to.

What should I pay attension to when rendering using maxwell, ive heard that the scale is very important but how does maya units work? I saw that maxwell is working in meters. But how can I messure up the distance between 2 points? Can I use the maya distance tool, is 100 units in the maya distance tool 10 or 100 maxwell meters?

I realy want to know about this so I can improve my renderings.

Thanks, Peter

(Im realy sorry if Im posting a thread about something that have been discussed in another threed, but I could´t find anything whene I searched)

Maya standard Units are centimeters, (you can change it at Windows-Settings/Preferences-Preferences-Settings-Linear).
To measure the distance between 2 points use Maya distance tool as you say, 100 units in Maya distance tool is 100 cm or 1 meter by default.
