of course..... the previous version was ok, this one is annoying because of that bug.

That's MXCL rendering the preview. It shows up briefly and then it's hidden, we'll fix it so that it doesn't show up at all (1.1 didn't pop a log window when rendering). If it's too annoying you can temporarily disable material previews by going to Window -> Rendering Editors -> Maxwell -> Maxwell settings and unchecking "Enable swatch rendering".

I got the same problem here....resulting in a maya crash/freeze as soon as I try to tweak any setting of a material.


please fix that bug!
