I couldn't find the place for setting the new lens effects from within maya.... will there be a short manual for the plug in ?

Some new features are not implemented in Maxwell SDK yet, so will be included in next versions. Anyway, this is a feature to use in real time in MXCL so is only interesting to create animations within Maya.

Not by now, Simulens is only for stills, may be when was included in the pluging yo could that kind of animations.
