hi mayallians,

i just opened an old scene (plug ver. 0.8.3 i think) and all the shaders messed up.

plastic mats magically turned into emitters ... (wow, there will be light... :shock: )
all the diffuse materials met with the holy spirit and just left an empty node !

I get tons of err messages like:

// Error: line 1: Node "Car_LackSW" has no attribute "rgU". //
// Error: line 1: The MXEmitter 'Car_LackSW' has no 'rgV' attribute. //
// Error: line 1: Node "Car_LackSW" has no attribute "rgV". //
// Error: line 1: The MXEmitter 'Car_LackSW' has no 'rst' attribute. //


You can only count on the Metal Material, it stayed untouched.


Anyone else experienced this ?

old versions arent backward compatible as far as I know, throw a lamber shader on everything and export your geometry, and open it as a new scene, then reapply your maxwell shaders, thats all I can suggest after having some wierd things happen myself :P

Ohh... what a fun reassigning all the shaders. Ufff!
Ok, but i'm not the only one having this prob.

...perhaps I better reinstall the 0.8.2 version for this project.
