hey there ... is there no way to use the maya main window over two monitors ? (just scale it larger ?)

the only thing i can do is undock some windows as the AttributeEditor...

You can extract views, for example perspective view, and have that one maximized over the second monitor... Thats pretty usefull. I usually have my rendercamera on that second monitor (and render view) and the defult perspective cam on monitor one.

Or you can resize Maya by draging the corners out, just like any other program. But there is no default setting that I know about... Tell me if there is.

well, that tear-off command is cool...

only one problem with that... the «panel» command doesn't show anymore on the new window...

doesn't work on a mac to just drag the window larger over the second screen it seems...
ok, for just one persp window it doesn't make sense to have the center of interest just in the middle of the two screens... but that tear-off thing is great !
