I keep getting Memory Error writing image when I try to render within Maya

Don't know if it is the same problem but from Maya, Maxwell don't want to write the output picture in any format...
Is it this ?

I don't know. I've set the rendering aside and am focusing on modeling for the time being.

Maybe when you want to save your image, write after the name of your image the exact format file you want with the extension : .jpg, .tga, etc...
