Can someone explain or point me to a forum i migh have missed explaining this sun system- in Maya's MXplug.
Which way is north? has this changed since the latest march alpha?
I believe i read that it is pointing with the Y up.
So a scene with horizon on a XZ plane Zneg would not be north with mayas coordinate system set to y up? causing one to group the entire scene and rotating it-which ten might throw off camears or aniamtion. Could the solution be so simple as grouping the scene saving it and opening a new scene, going into settings and changing the coordinate system to point Zup so that what was the XZ plane is now the XY plane. and X posative is East X neg is west Y neg is south and Y pos is North?
Is there a way in the gi to see the suns angle as a refrence?could anyone point me to help on this topic? thanks.
