Here it is a Blender geometry exporter for Linux (mainly to have instances support) with the sdk for 1.7:

How to:
Just rename pymaxwell.so.25 or pymaxwell.so.26 to pymaxwell.so depending on what python blender use.
It should work out of the box with Ubuntu 9.10 and the blender available with synaptic -> 2.49a.
It may request libboost-python1.40 and/or libboost-python1.40-dev.
Davide Vercelli ( unclezeiv@kerid.org ) has coded this for me and my blenderian colleagues, bored with millions of polygons of copies when exporting to Maxwell. Thank you!
FAQ:
- Will it export mesh with modifiers as instances? No, modifiers will be applied and mesh will be real. Please apply all the modifiers before exporting (Select all "a" and convert modifiers to mesh "Alt+c") and be careful because array is a modifier: use clone ( Alt+d or duplivert/faces or dupliframes instead ).
- Will it export mapping coordinates -UV-? Yes!
- Will it export materials? No.
- Will it export cameras? No.
- Will it export light or others stuff? No.
- Will it be for Windows or Mac? I don't think, look "If you don't use linux".
- Will you support this? I'm not able to give support because I'm not a coder and I barely understand how it works. But maybe I can answer basic questions.
- Will you increase / fix any missing features / bugs? Maybe. If you are interested please contact me.
If you don't use linux (everyone has some defect
) get a live distro and try it:

You can easyly start Blender and Maxwell also on a live session.
