Hello all.

question 1- how can I easily change the scale of a material?

I'm using the rhino maxwell plug-in. The only way I found so far is to jumpo to the material editor and changing the tile value in every single map, individually.
This is extremely unefficient.
Is there a way of scaling the whole thing at once?

question 2 - how can I easily change the orientation of the texture (for instance if i want to have a wood strip material rotated by 90 degrees?)

Thank you very much!

jumpo to the material editor and changing the tile value in every single map, individually.
This is extremely unefficient.
In the Rhino plugin, if you hold down CTRL while adjusting the value, it will adjust all maps in the current layer; if you hold down CTRL+SHIFT, it will adjust all of the maps in the entire material.
how can I easily change the orientation of the texture (for instance if i want to have a wood strip material rotated by 90 degrees?)
1. select a map in the material editor
2. hold down CTRL+SHIFT
3. toggle-on the Real Scale button ('m' in the texture-editor toolbar)
4. still holding down CTRL+SHIFT, adjust tile x/y to be in the ballpark
5. select the object you want to change the orienation for
6. go to Rhino's Object Properties > Maxwell Object Properties page
7. in the 'Real Scale Texture Control' section, adjust x/y/z rotation as desired

Btw...sorry I took so long to answer this, but I hardly ever look in this forum section (once a month, from the looks of it). If you have any other questions about Rhino/Maxwell, please feel free to post about them in the Rhino plugin section where they'll probably be answered within an hour or so.
