Well, if you're on the Mac download it with right click > download linked file
(wording might be slightly different, I'm on a German system here...)
Then you get the *.7z file, which is considered as a superior zipping file
format by some nerds who care more about features than usability
The OS X tool of choice to unpack them is the freeware untar, available at
http://mac.softpedia.com/get/Utilities/Untar.shtml

P.S.: Zip your files for god's sake. Both OS X and Windows come with zip
support build in. Using 7z is mostly reckless IMO, there's no widely
supported MIME type for it, so the problems start with the download and
they end with mediocre path handling. Certified bad idea.
