thank you maximus.

there's something weird going on in my weird mind since quite a time now... and it's got it's origin in your maps.

everytime i see a cg movie and there come the shots, where you see some not-so-shiny metal-stuff that is somewhat scratchy or similar, I always have the idea/illusion that I'm seeing the patterns of your scratchmaps... the last time i had this feeling, it was in the movie "bolt"... quite at the beginning, in the chase-sequence, where bolt and his person are beeing chased on the bridge and the little girl "un-folds" her bicycle and grabs the handlebar.

was watching this movie again on a dvd lately, together with a friend this time, and seeing this shot once again:

-"there! maximus' scratchmaps"
-"what? who's maximus?? and what's scratchmaps?"
-"the scratches on the handlebar, we just saw... they MUST be from maximus. a guy from a 3d forum, that I'm member of! i'm sure!!"
-"but this was a shot for not even half a second!"
-"so what! it was his patterns! i'm sure!"
-"boy, you need to get out more often..."

Stefan: You're welcome :) i'm just glad if you find some use of them

djflod: No problem :) and thanks for downloading them

mashium: Haha that sounds too weird to be true :D lol, i can't imagine those maps would be used like that. Hm, maybe i need to watch that movie now.. it sounds like a good one! awesome, thanks for the fun story and the laughs mashium :D
