You've done lotsa creative stuff lately Kurt, can't wait to see what you'll be doing with displacement and everything else.

Latest one looks like the surface is laquered, sweet!

Keep up the good work :)

Wow Kurt  great stuff! first and second one's are sweet. Especially the first one, it almost looks like actual geometry and not just a plain material. :)

Keep them coming!

I started by modelling the ribbed glass, but then I started think it might be an easier way to do it...

sorry about that, I thought that the compatibility issue was fixed in the final release. I guess most users have upgraded to 1.5?

thanks a lot, guys!

I still have a lot to learn about how to create more comlex materials. As a testcase I've modeled a simple kitchen sink where I'm trying out some multilayered metal materials I'm working on.

Still a lot to be improved before it looks like "the real thing", but its amazing how many possibilities Maxwell offers regarding controlling those surfaces...
comments and advices are most welcome!

That ribbed glass is great -working on a little test with it right now. Thanks for sharing it.

The sink is looking really cool! The only thing I could say is maybe the scratches are bit too deep?

Pretty damn good though!
