Saving MXM files that point to maps on 10 different random folders on one's harddrive doesn't help much. Maps could be set on the same folder of the MXM files or on a standard folder.
And we could mandate to have a license distribuition associated with the maps.... We never know if somone uploads a map for (non-comercial use only) and after a lot of work we discover that that map was a very restrictive copyright license it will not be pleasant. (like the free section of renderosity.com that discloses if this can be used for a commercial or a non-commercial end.
We could have standard
http://creativecommons.org/ licenses and so we know what we can and can't do with the materials and maps.
