I'm looking for a simple milky yellowish white translucent material to use for a lamp shade. I can not find anything close to it on the mxm site (which is "up and going btw

). Does anyone have something close they could share?

MW 2.6, C4D R12/R13, Rhino 5.0, WinVista x64, i7-920 3.8Ghz, 12 GB RAM

I still don't have it yet...it's really a very common material in light fixtures. I have not had the time to try to figure this one out on my own.

I have not had the time to try to figure this one out on my own.

that's why we're here, right!

I've made some progress using MXI-textures instead, have a look in this thread:

I might give thinSSS a shot anytime soon aswell, and I'll post the results to that thread.
