Have you downloaded the correct drivers for Vista 64 bit for your printers? I have been able to connect to every office printer with no problems, both through a network server and through a TCP/IP.

yeah, I can connect directly to a printer via the IP address and install it that way (but our tracking software doesn't pop-up), the share method doesn't connect (even though the wizard finds it). The wizard worked the first day I installed Vista, but I didn't have the right drivers so it didn't install the printers; now the wizard gives me a "can't connect, make sure the printer is connected to the network" warning

Unfortunately I'm the IT guy in the office…I've got a call into our service provider and the network specialist we use when I don't know what I'm doing they just aren't responding to me (feeling like a Vista leper at the moment)

Do you use Argos for print tracking? We do. Our plotters have to run through a server instead of an ip too...
