Thanks for your reply...if you have a minute to elaborate on using a sub-division modeler. Are cushions geometry or achieved through something like displacement mapping?

Any particular sub-d program you would recommend?

If i may recommend some good tools for subdiv modeling it has to be Modo and also Silo 1.4 (the old version) and if you wanna step into organic sculpting to give your cushions even more detail then Zbrush and Mudbox but those tools might be a bit overkill for your needs now. Modo 301 which will be released soon is probably the best of them all.
