I just made a new material based on JD´s ags (architectural glazing).

I was inspired by the view from my balcony the other day.

I was interested to get this bent shadows with a simple map for flat planes, as you get out of cad models.

the reason for this bent shadows is

a) the reason of have 2 glasses here in germany, often called isolating glass. This two glasses have a gas filling in between, what should gerantee the thermal isolation between the inside and outside of your building. since the pressure in the filling is never excatly the one of the atmosphere outside you have this to glasses bent due to it.

b) some bending also occurs due to tension when mounting the window, especially on fully glessed facades.

here is the look with simple plain glass (ags material)

and these two with the vivid_ags material

I think the reflections become more vivid and realistic.

The material is ready for downloading from the mxm section any minute.

feel free to play around with the amount of the normal map, weight of bdsf layers and the ND value, which in this case only controlles the amount of reflection, since window glas is nealry a single plain and refraction is no matter.

cheers
