Hello to all,
I have modeled a Nespresso citiz with Milk Frother in "Cinema 4D" and now wants it in "Maxwell 2.7" render and the pixel points to the glass tray are noticed in the rendering.

Does anyone know where they come from?
The scene with a HDRI image is illuminated.

Thank you for your help.

Greeting Jörg

Probably the pouring coffee is an SSS material? Currently, SSS is not very efficient when using HDR environment lighting, it will be much faster with a regular emitter. Plus the situation you have here is difficult to solve: the volumetric SSS causes caustics which fall through the glass and then has to reach the camera....I would probably get away with a regular material for the coffee and that noise should go away.

Hello Mihai,
Thank you for the message.
The problem with the pixels can be seen also on the black background.

This doesn't look like a performance related issue. It could be something to do with a basic mistake in modeling of fluid-glass interference and/or material settings. Would you mind explaining your setup in details?

Hello to all,
Here is a revised version of the Nespresso machine.
This time fully illuminated area lights without HDRI, but only me.
