It is motion blur.

one big plane crosses all scene from up to down in one second, and it produces very funny effects with large number of variations, depends of material it has or is it on or off to GI computation.

for instance- glass makes very subtle effect (something like glow)
in this CLASS scene there was simple white lambert I guess .

try it. it is fun and very fast compared to SSS solutions (especially on 1.7.1 version).

and this motion blur trick can be easy use to other SSS bodies like semitransparent cubes. very usefull trick, but kind of BIASED approach ;)

You can not do animation in studio. have to export using plugin from other 3d app (3dmax) , as far as I know in 1.7.1

in studio You can turn on turn off motion blurr I suppose and vary camera setting to change motion blurr apperance , shot speed eg.

I think I just failed with my english once more - in last post.
myself wrote:
I just got to know what kudos means ;)
during research (on/in/at/with) urban slang dictionary what bubbaloo's "props" mean I understood my quoted sentence was wrong. If I am correct it means " I have to know what "kudos" mean. so tell me"

I meant. " I just realized (found on web at this specified moment) what this "kudos" means. That is why I said "thank You" to Master Tom so late.

so to be correct I should write:

I just found what kudos means. (ergo - I can say thank you Master with clear heart).

THX Bubbaloo for pushing me to that. Once I have learned so much about maxwell on/at/with/into this forum. Now it is rather usefull to train with my English skill :D
