I haven't posted a project in a long time. This is a kitchen renovation I am working on. Comments and critiques are always welcome. Modeled in Sketchup 6, rendered in MW 1.7.

It looks great!!

But i think you have to do something about that TV screen. It's to bright compared to the hole kitchen.

other than that...just beautiful!

Looking good, but who has a TV in their kitchen? Sorry but it looks kind of tacky.

Hey guys, thanks for the critiques. Making adjustments as we speak.

I know at least 10 people that have tv's in their kitchen. This client specifically asked for a tv in the kitchen.

Nice job!
It's just that there's that white backlight present in the images, especially in the first ones. Don't know - is there a widow/door behind?
BTW, did you model the whole thing in Sketchup - like knives, plates, jars, kitchenware, or just the main geometry?

Thanks for the comments!

There is a large window on the other side of the kitchen. I just used the HT Stainless from the MXM gallery, and adjusted the refelction settings a little.

looks very good to me...took me a minute to figure out what was going on over the sink with that shade pulled partly down.
TV brightness looks ok to me...tv's in kitchens, maybe an "American thing"? Some people here have a tv in almost every room
Wonder if the sink should be up a little higher...it's a surface mount sink over plastic lam countertop?
The downlights look particularly realistic to me...did you use some sort of metal reflector, since these are likely not ies lights?

war damn eagle!
You got that right! I hope they smash Florida this year, show Tebo some real football.

I was actually going for a corian type countertop. The reflection may be a bit too strong though.

maybe he just modelled the light in a correct way.

did it a while back to test it as well - IES - setup (different hights for the light sources inside a stretched half sphere)

So, is this a known issue?
