Another wip.

This time it´s the Fishermans Bastion in Budapest, Hungary. One of the more popular tourist spots thanks to the panoramic view you get of the city from there.
As usual, shots taken from the web for reference, all the modeling in C4D and renders in Maxwell.

Here are the first two sets.

It should be a forum rule, call it "The Rochr Rule", that Rochr must video record every minute of modeling one of these projects and post those videos to this forum. What I could learn. Now, I can only sit back and enjoy his mastery in chunks of output while how he does it remains cloaked in mystery.

Thanks a lot guys. :)
Still haven´t decided if i´ll do the whole lot with all the walls and stairs or just the largest section of the building, but i´ll try to keep the build under 5 months. :D

Well, you would definitely learn a lot about how to achieve messy wireframes and remodeling sections more than once. :D

It´s the "Smooth Plaster Wall" material with very low bump values.

Thanks mate. :)

Another update than.

I´ve started working on the second tower. I still need to finish up the lower part before i´ll begin adding some stairs.

ohhhhhhh yes... ohhhhh yes....... it's like a truffle. the taste of the model overwhelms you at first and then the rendering happily lingers around...
(if you've never had a well prepared truffle then i am really sorry)

Looking great! The last one seems to have some polygons showing on that last one, on the large cone shaped tower on the right. Maybe a bit more smoothing?
