Here is an image that I threw together in Sketchup in about 4 hours using some of the same methodology as in Vue.

I would like to update it with better trees. Please provide critiques

Looks pretty good. There are some repeating patterns in the grass on the left and you're right, the trees could be better. The trees you are using would look much better with more realistic textures. Also, throw in some different types/sizes of trees.
