Very realistic in terms of lighting. Only the pieces need super tiny bevels.

It may be a case of materials. A shiny plastic material will probably reveal those edges better than a diffuse grey.

Nice on BTW. Looking forward to the full lego model.

Better... but in my 35 years of handling legos (as a kid, and now with my kids) the "lego" text on the top of each piece is more legible than how it appears in your scene... Maybe the text should be slightly taller, or each letter should be a bit thinner.

True... but have you also found the interface and speed of that tool to be pretty bad? I have an intel mac with adequate ram (2G) and good video, but LDD is super-slow, and frankly weird.

To make LDD truly usefull, maybe NL can create a plugin for Maxwell! :)

You mean I've been busting my @ss modelling these, and there is a lego designer available? That just figures... :lol:
Hehe, sorry, I didn't wanted to say it that way. And certainly lego pieces dont have enough detail for a close view. Yours are a lot better for sure! :wink:
