Here is another project that i am currently working on. Is a museum at Florida International University. So far it is not finished yet but i am having a lot of issues in creating these final shots, so maybe i could use some crit. The client in this case is not the architect but the marketing team of the foundation, they are pretty lost, so it is prety hard to get a direction from them and i do not want to over do it in a way that it would mean double the work. I hate these type of projects cause they leave so much liability room.

Any who, what cha think? This is shot 1 out of 3 exteriors.

Hey, i´ll shoot
Have you tried direct sunlight, because the mix of lighting and the cloudy sky looks like depressing (sorry my english is no good), the water doesn´t look like water (assuming that is water) and vegetation... i don´t know too much billboard can you make it 3D?

Cheers
JC

PS. Again sorry but my english is no good maybe sound a little harsh

I will try the direct sunlight and see what effect it gives. The water is a dirty ass lake, agua estancada. What do you mean by bilboard? the vegetation is all 3d.?

Jc4d, this is a prime example of why communities like these work. I was so focused on the project that did not even think about letting the HDRI idea a change. However you mentioned it and it clicked...i changed it and there is a definite change, they are rendering now, so i'll post when they clear.

when working with museums and public spaces it's very important to show "a lot" of people... You have to make the project look like is going to bring a lot of people, and those people should look happy and having fun.

I will definetly do that Leo, however I'm still dealing with the flatness of those weeds. I think i need to change that entire landscape area. And also see if the client snaps and gives me an idea of what is it they want to see.... I hate being blind, or responsible for these type of things for others. I must sound like an ass, stress id getting to me i eed to lay off for at least a day.

maybe this is only because you are testing, but the outside walls stone texture seems to be put without any reference to how it would work in reality. try to find the correct module for fitting all elements coming out of the wall. maybe some extra texturing will be necessary for the correct terminations - the stone texture should never be simply 'cut off'.

another thing: the palm trees seem to be much too small when compared to the people.

Good Progress I Like it! I dont know what it is but the first renders looks abit "Flat" or maybe to much contrast? First rear render close up is much better!
