Are the two emitters right behind the window (like an area light)? If so, why do you use skydome?

I would try a bit more warm light from the emitters.

Looks very nice right now, It will be great when it is finished.

Hi,

Great materials, i love the humanism of putting the book on the floor next to the chair :)

For me, the image feels a bit too tightly cropped, I'd have a play with camera angles...

Excellent lighting! However, the rug could still use a lot of work. It looks like you have modeled the border and the main body separately - with different noise settings. Now the edge looks like it's detached from the rest. Here's what I'd do:

Create your plane with enough subdivision to get a sufficient lumpiness. convert to poly, select the edge faces and change their material ID to 2 (leaving the body at ID 1). While you have the edge faces selected, you can extrude/taper them a bit so it has a different height (like your original image). Then you can add your noise over the entire rug, and create a multi-sub material so the border and body have different colors.

Very nice render, devista. :o

Just one thing is your picture frame.

It is too flat shaded with pure b&w, so it looks like a painted one with photoshop.

How about a layer of AGS over the top to give it some glassy reflections? :)
