Just playing around with poly-displacement on the embossing, might be of interest to someone..........the bottle's supposed to be 'old' but I haven't nailed it yet.........

Thanks Chris, glass looking better now but the enviro needs some optimization...... :roll: .......small windows & low light levels are giving me a treacle-like benchmark. :wink: ......this after 8 hours across 4 cores:

Hi, it's just a high-poly surface displaced by a greyscale map in Lightwave, saved as a 'transformed' object and dropped into MWstudio. :)

Dispersion is on for the bottle yes, the tumblers are ior based.
You're right I probably don't need the dispersion, I'll see what happens to rendertime if I switch it off. :)

So, is this a known issue?
