Hi.

So, Im done. I got no more time left for this contest and Im pretty
satisfied with the result.

I have had a hard time getting the same lightning as in the photo, and
thats the part Im most dissatisfied with. And the fabrics are not that good
eather. But, I have done my best.

And as I said, time is/was against me.

The Original Picture, taken by me, in my livingroom.

If you want to know what focal length will give a 50 degree field of view with your particular digicam, you have to divide 48 by the field of view crop factor for the size of sensor in your digicam (sometimes called "focal length multiplier").

The default camera back in Maxwell is 35mm format - you can always change it so that the focal lengths in Maxwell 'equate' to the ones in the digicam that you use.

If you are working in max you have a tool for camera matching. You need to set five points in your model that match the same five points in the photo; the tool makes the rest.

Hey To-non-bias-ed,

Nice reference render. But the small chair seems out of scale and the red scooter a bit forced. The four remotes on the table seem less than randomly places. SSS on the curtains looks good. The MXI on the TV looks a bit too clear from that angle. The sun glare is nice, but maybe overdone a bit. And the white bookshelf and boxes with metal accents are maybe too clear. A real photo wouldn't look like this.

I look forward to your ability to recreate in a MaxwellCam.

:)
