I did this wine opener project 5 years ago for a job, and wanted to rerender it in maxwell for fun. I will post more shots of the designs soon. I also have another old project that I am rerendering now that I will show soon also. Please feel free to comment as always. Also which one does everyone like best. Left, middle or right one?

i like the middle one the best...

i would stab myself with the one on the left after opening my third bottle,
and the one one the right looks like i could break it with some of the cheap wines i have had

Very nice and clean... the cork area is VERY sweet!

Even though the refraction of the label on the neck of the bottle might be naturally squared (or in a hexagon shape if you will) it might be too perfect to fool the eyes as a real image. And the color of the right corkscrew seems a bit unnatural.

But everything else is picture perfect.

Looks great. And I also like the midle one best. I think I just dont like the color of the right one. If that one where silver as well... then...

Thanks everyone. I was also not sure about the redish orange color either. My gut instinct was to go with silver, but since the first one was silver I thought I would try some variety. When I rerender closeups I will change that one to silver and see how it turns out. Oh wait maybe a charcoal grey to contrast with the metal rods that grab the cork might look nice.
