:D needs a break every now and then. ;)

Higher sample rate:- http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?doc ... 9108349913 Strange artifacts in the foreground.

Will be starting on Material creation this week and will be remaking the curtain tomorrow.

Nice videos Tim, great effort there! Those moiré patterns could be due to high poly emitters. Make sure you're using the simplest geometry for them. If they are beveled sub-d boxes, a plane would work much faster with no artifacts. ;)

Thanks for the great tip Tom. They are single beveled cubes for each emitter, but I'll use a single plane for the final multilight run.

Thanks Sandy. :D

I've made another but will be uploading this tomorrow.

Materials work starts this week.

Chair renders. Each about 2hrs.

Also spent a few hours remaking the desk, as there were several scaling errors which made camera matching impossible.

very nice comfy chair you got there... pretty cool render... I prefer the dark blue one... maybe the other one is too cyan...

Thanks.

Chairs update. (Have again modified both the chairs to match their real counterparts better, since this was rendered.)
Image
Scene update. Lots of mesh tweaks and small detail additions.

Further mesh tweaks. (Curtain removed and has since been re-modeled.)

First multilight render in progress, results tomorrow.

How many polygon in this scene?
It was up to 2.5million, but I've since reduced a lot of high sub-surf meshes, to single iterations.
I'll check on the one that's rendering now and confirm totals tomorrow.
