Better version, has more natural motion and better cornering, still a couple of things to add.
I tried very hard to get flags onto the poles but at these speeds the cloth sim is fail, now planning to add hairy pompom's instead.

almost 100% but 2 things:
1- I can't see the driver (maybe it's a new remote controlled car?)
2- tires cannot look as perfect circles, the part that touches the road is always a bit smothered... that's how I tell between real and fake.

Thanks everyone!
@choo-chee: If you can't see it, you have to look harder, he's there. :) Even animated. Just as Brian pointed out.
While true that tires will always deform on ground contact the effect on the 599 in reality is really, really minimal.

I'd wish for dynamic tire deformation during weight distribution and g- forces though. Sadly not supported in the MadCar plugin. This is still an animation, therefore it's hard to measure up to dedicated still images where you only have to care for a given angle. There is- of course- always room for improvement.

Hey, this looks great.

I'm still working on the asset side of things mostly.. (i've made around 20 cars! but the track model is very far from ready, I get bored making the track, even though its prob the most challenging bit )

I'll upload some car shots later on. The design changes are still happening, mostly indecision about paint colours + decals. Kind of reluctant to show images until the paint colours get settled.

I have MW3 installed now, just rendered this mw2 scene, I changed the car-paint to an additive setup now that ADDITIVE WORKS :D but otherwise the materials are the same, The amount of detail in the image is improved over MW2 because the normal maps come through with more detail, (this image also rendered with a small aperture and no MB) It was so detailed that I turned down the sharpness to 50.

Playing with mw3, I am excited about the new speedy MB, and additive materials (for laquer), point based MB is a major fix for c4d users, and transparency works better (brighter), backface materials :) , and general improvements to creative freedom such as light-linking. Also the projector light works well.

I am less excited about volumetrics, which seem to be particle oriented and impractical for general airy renders - 'atmospherics'.

Anyway congratulions on the release, images look better than ever, my workflow seems as stable, just some minor ui glitches. Also the mxm thumbnails are missing which will prob get fixed with a new installation, or it maybe because MW2 is still installed?
