Wonderfully modeled and rendered as always Nico!

I am, however, a bit confused with the reflections that your knobs are picking up. It seems to me that this type of rough plastic wouldn't hardly reflect anything at all.......

Hi Will, I really don't know, but here it seems to go just fine

Would you mean something like "orange peel" - like you get on a $249.95 car paint job?

Nice knob. :)

Hi Frances,

Thanks!!

Yes a bit like an orange peel paint job, but a bit more rough, like droplets that are laying on top of the paint, just very subtle.
I think this one is already getting close to want I want to achieve:

Quite nice :) I like the lighting in the first update much better (between these two images I mean).

Nico I like the sprayed on paint look. Did you make the bump for that in photoshop or did you scan something that was painted like this and make it seamless? It is very convincing.

Thanks guys!!

I was actually looking for a nice bump map when I found this photo, it's water droplets on a car.
indeed I've made it seamless in PSPX :)

Hey Mihai, luckily I have it rendered using multi light ;)

Resized 20%:
