Any chance you can scale that painting up 6-7 inches ? ...maybe no one will notice. ...too small man.

Yes, it's an existing skylight in an awkward location! Actually, the ceiling and lighting haven't even been addressed yet. So I have just put in 4x4 tiles and simple spot lights for now.

Here's the final version. I think it turned out just ok, nothing special. I don't think I'll post it in my gallery. As with all projects with ridiculous deadlines, just ran out of time and didn't get to add as much detail as I wanted. On to the next project! Thanks to everyone who commented.

nice thing to add the dark gray tiles to accentuate the handrails and wooden beams/ downstairs wall finish.
