great ! could you tease us a bit telling us the number of models?

is there some kind of categories such as continental breakfast, tacos, sushis, soup, meat, fish, pastries and so on?

he he... there will be approx between 35 and 40 models... but a plate with a fish, potatoes, parsely, etc is one model..

There will be two large categories.. baked and cooked food, and Raw food..

In the first, you'll find Breakfast for one people including basket with bread, viennoiseries, coffee, eggs, etc.. - For lunch same thing.. plates with everything on it... also dinner... and what I'd say class dinner with a pretty elaborated plate.. etc.. also pastries Like a large "Mariage pièce montée" (looks good in a kitchen previz..)

Raw food will include raw vegetables, fruit basket, candy things like pomme d'amour, raw fish ready for oven.. also a crab.. etc..

+ some surprises...

all maps are min. 2048 pixels &+..

Thanks

Did you let it bake for long ?

Thanks Rickyx..

soon, you'll see more Thomas..

Hey Max... real baking was about 25/30 min. Maxwell baking was clean at 14 sl.. with an hdri and a couple of blocking planes.. about 50 min. on my slow comp.

i wonder how this croissant would look after being 3D-scanned. the resolution can easily be reduced in any 3D program...

what holds You off this, Hervé ?

the good point in 3D scanning is that there are (well, should be) no real highlights in the textures as a photo would have (except in a very diffuse lighting condition)

perfect work so far ! how much will the dvd cost ?

Thanks ! hehe.. what holds me off doing 3D scanning..?. well the price.. I don't know how many I will sell.. no idea.. but I don't think that much.. I've been looking into 3DSom.. cool piece.. sure.. but 2200 euros.. not sure it would even be worth it... so yes I am doing all by hand.. I get a more contolable result.. I get a nice Normal map, I get a displacement map.. I control my reflections with a diff light.. and the inevitable is brushed away.. I know I know.. I am not a rich "artist".. :D
