Hi Brian,

Somehow (also because it has much less noise) it looks much better now, I like the new colour of the walls!
The fire still needs a lot of attention to make it look real though

Now that's looking much much better! alot cleaner too! :) - Brian are the colours/tones chosen in this render a requirement from the client? - Why I ask:

The brown colours/tones to me seems to be almost similar - you have the roof beams nearly matching the leather sofas this could possibly also include the floor! What I'm trying to say is the browns need breaking up they almost blend together! leaving the eye to ignore the surroundings and purely focusing on the fireplace area due to the stone breaking away from the brown - If you had the floor, roof beams, fireplace shelf and door frames a darker wood or much lighter wood then it will help! :)

OR it could be as simple as picking a different brown colour!

If this is a constraint from the client then don't worry about the above comments. :D

But I could be looking at this too in-depth as at the end of the day its going to be a student centre! :)

 - That added atmosphere and brightness has transformed this image! Its really made the brown tones jumped alive! haha! (Forget about previous comments) The Larger image has brought out more of the details too and I have to say
great materials overall!! :D

So, is this a known issue?
