Oh, i didn't know you were still learning. I thought you learnt it already. Then we should be at about the same level as we're both learning now :)

I grabbed a couple of scripts from Vertexmonkey a while back, great site! :) very useful scripts are flatten and quadranglestar, i use them all the time. They're a big timesaver :D

Btw, thanks for the reminder of that site. Time to checkf for new useful scrips and stuff there hehe

Jona: Thanks :) but i don't know why.. sorry. what's wrong with your AutoCAD meshes ?! as long as they look like they should when you render them it should be fine. It doesn't matter that much what your wireframes look like.

Hervé: Thanks again :) hehe.. speaking of polycount, it landed at slightly above half a million in my testrendering last night :/ oh nice find, that site. I missed it before. Thanks Hervé :)

I'm sorry for spamming this forum with my wip :( but i rendered out a clay during the night of this scene to see what it look like. It ran for 12 and a half hours at 2048x1536, SL 13,74 was reached in that time.

Nice updates Max, you've been busy. ;)

One more loop cut (if Modo has this option) at each end of the handle, will tighten the corners up nicely. (Loop cuts are the best friend of sub-surf modeling.)

glebe: Thanks alot! :)

CJElven: Yeap you're right, i will correct that and drop it down to a resting position before i finalize it. I also noticed i missed a couple of missing parts i need to fix such as nuts and bolts and such things.

Ricky: Thanks! :) true, i'll be fixing that again. I thought i increased it's radius enough but it needs to be a bit thicker to not break under the pressure hehe

Voidmonster: Thank you! :)

Adrian: Hehe thanks :) it's hard work to put in all the details but i hope it'll pay off once i start rendering it. That japanese stuff  lol what's with that ?! hehe, oh cool! if they like my work too i'm happy.

Tim: Thanks :) sure have, i'll do this while waiting for real work to arrive. So it's kinda a inbetweener to try to boost my subdiv modeling skills a bit.
Ah yea, i actually had a loop there before but i removed it. Thanks for pointing it out, i shall put it back again :)

Cheers & thanks for all your nice comments

Today's updates look like this, i been taking it a bit slower today so i modeled some rather simple objects. One anvil and one pair of gloves. I'm not yet sure i'll be keeping these objects for the final scene but they exist if i need them.

Another script to check out while you are at vertex monkey is the aligninment scripts by Seneca. I will help keep polygons in flow if they ever get out of wack. Great job!
