Very nice update Sandy.

Depending on how much of a perfectionist you are I've spotted a couple of differences between the photo & your model.

The windows are different. Starting from the right, there are three panes before the first thick upright and moving along to the door frame, there should be three more. This will help to move the door handle to the left to align better to the photo.

The bed posts are more bell shaped in the photo, with the two rings higher up.

Sorry to be picky. ;) The rest should align with a tilt on the camera, as you mentioned.

Cool progress mate,

Tim.

You need to add a camera correction modifier to your scene. You'll obtain perfectly parallel vertical line like in the photo.
You won't find it in the modifier rollout, but instead select your camera, rightclick and choose "Apply Camera correction modifier" from the quadmenu. Adjust the parameters as you need them.

Benjamin

Yes, I know that camera correction modifier. I'm 3dsmax user too.

but does it works correctly with M~R 1.1?

I did my work in the studio commonly, but if camera correction is work, I'll try render with plugin.

Thanks Benjamin and Tim and DrMerman.

Hi Benjamin,
Are you talking about Maxwell Studio? I don't see anything like that in my V1.1.
If its a plug in feature, it sounds useful for Studio.
Thanks for the insights.
Sorry if this is a threat jack.

I knew you were a master.. you beat everybody, because in NO TIME and this is excellent... Sandy, if I did not know you.. I'd say you cheated us with a photo... all it needs is time now.. just one thing that kinda bother me... the false curve on the curtain on the left of the bed (viewer POV) should go more straight... anyway.. you just won your card to the Herlix club... hehe

You Rock Mister ! :D

Wow, so quick reply.

Thanks Thomas and Hervé.

Hi Thomas, I used 2bsdf layer for wall, but I think not good, so I'll test a lambertian 1bsdf layer.

Hervé, thank you for your adivses, and I have to some modification of my ojbects. :D

Yes, the wall material will be tricky. Either use lambertian, or keep it as 2bsdf but use *additive* mode to brighten it.

I will give you kudos if you can get this corner to match perfectly ... ;)

... Indeed, 2 bsdf would be the way to go... but ...

- it works better for medium dark walls
- it takes a pretty long time to clear.. specially if you have a lot of other reflective objects in the room..

am I wrong Thomas..?
