It really IS but the rendertime was not astronomic (only if you obey glass/liquid matroska method) ;) It was only 13 hours for SL25.

nothing to do with the post, but (i am sure the question was asked many times). What are the tips to make a good SSS render. It never get clean (i have a 100px x 100px region renderded during 96h on my macpro and the result is ugly.
More coefficient mean more noise for the same render time?
Only using IBL and or just 1polygon emmiter?

From my experience only IBL or IBL combined with emitters will clear sss. Every image I have tried with only emitters the sss never clears to an acceptable level.
