Thanks everyone for your nice comments.

Fernando & big K, can i ask you why exactly you find it uncomfortable, rigid? is it due to the design or the 3d (lack of crease)? Maybe recliner is not the good name for such furniture...maybe it's more a lounger. Step by step, you will discover the concept behind this chair that make it, design point of view, "rigid".
The first picture is a composition of two render so maybe it's why there is some scale problem

Here are the originals render (scaled down), plus a new one done during the night.

Maybe it's just the material of the surface that looks... slipery; it seems that your butt and back will slide when you seat for a while. Or maybe it's that the cushion looks convex instead of concave so it doesn't look ergonomic.

About your last picture: Can it really do that? The bottom of the backrest changes its angle as it goes down? Cool! Some kind of double frame? Maybe it will get some creases at the back of the backrest?

I'm intrigued; very interesting piece of furniture!

...it's a mapping projection from a Camera View :P
In the case of this thread ----> http://www.maxwellrender.com/forum/view ... ng#p284599

So, is this a known issue?
