Thanks to all again.
x kami, in the next renderings the dark wood panels will be replaced with a dark blue glass. The stair should be the same as in all previous versions.

all lights on.
The floor material is now less CG. we added some bump and dust.

hmmmmm........ my eye gets stuck on the ferns..... something seems off with them? copper pipes look better.
plaster is a tough one to solve at times since it's hard to ignore its crying plea for more texture although its subtlety teeters on a delicate point..... (for me at least).

hi daros,

thanks for sharing your wips in depth!
it is great to see the scene/materials evolve... to perfection :)

the plaster looks very realistic now, i just think that the indirect lighting on the first day image you posted is still the most compelling (the subtle reflection), but maybe thats a SL thing.

only the concrete material on the stair seems a bit strange, it is very noisy compared to the rest of the render, and a bit too diffuse imho.

cheers,

Daniel

Yes as always simply stunning!

Though there is something that just keeps jumping out to my eye! The bump on the panelling of the daylight images! I'm not sure if the joints are modelled, displaced or bumped (bumped I assume), but they seem to suffer from the daylight reverse bump effect we often see. The last posted V2 improvements of the new bump results shows this current effect clearly. I also notice in the middle part of the curve to the left the bump and colour maps seem to misplace a bit!

BTW the plaster wall on right now looks amazing!
