Thanks a lot for the positive comments everyone. :)

Here comes another update.

I´ll have to cut some holes in the gratings for the walkway support beams, add more wiring and a few hoses connecting the pumps with the building before i start adding the surrounding stuff and work on the textures.

I´ll probably skip the floor beneath and add some huge fans and wiring there instead. The idea is that this is part of a very tall building, and having the buildings on the other side of the street visible below the platform will add to the sense of height.

"Say hello to your little friend"
Do you think they will still be quoting a '70s movie in the distant future?
How many 30's or 40's movies are quoted today?
Just a small observation.
The new modelling looks fantastic.

Now that I'm over my excitement for this great modeling work.. uh.. what are these? Scape pods? Trampolines? :o)

Update time again.

I´m pretty satisfied with the building, so i´ve started working on some of the props that will be placed here and there. Some texturing done on these as well.

Edit: Never mind that cable ending in mid-air. It´s already fixed.

Guess i´ll go for fuel pumps. I´ll probably add some sort of vehicle to the scene to make it more obvious. :)

I love the design of this. It's takes something to create an image in which it draws you in. Even at this early stage it is a believable scene.

Amazing detail, I've got to say I am jealous of your patience, design skills and the over all quality of your work!

How are you lighting this by the way?

Thank you. :)

Nothing fancy at all, just default physical sky & sunlight, 11 am.
